Lessons From the Field: What I Learned from Writing Magical Possibilities
In 2015, I had a pivotal moment when out of some tough circumstances I received a download for a new teaching that would not only transform my life but the lives of many beautiful souls to whom I taught it.
Within a few months, every area of my life was infused with a magical quality. Dreams were magically realised, health issues reversed, I had more love, joy and abundance all of a sudden. This magic continues to bless me to this day. The sweetness of life, even amidst grief and heartbreak, reveals itself profoundly as a constant in this malleable world.
This year, I was called to update Magical Possibilities: The Art Of Dissolving Unwanted Reality, the book containing the aforementioned teaching, and put it on Amazon. After pulling my last book out of Amazon in favour of my own platform, this is a huge step. In all honestly, I was partially reeling from being viciously hacked, which I have accepted as an energetic reaction to my work (The System attempting to preserve itself by preventing my work from spreading).
But the old system is collapsing, in this era of the divine feminine rising. Our collective consciousness has expanded to a point where overall there is more support for works that promote a new paradigm, so it is timely for me to share my work in this way. Instead of creating alternative channels in order to be heard and our messages received, we can be present in the system itself. Those who are still trapped in the 3D paradigm and looking for ways to shift out of it can be better served by having the resources available in the existing paradigm.
I have a special fondness for Magical Possibilities. Maybe because the way the events surrounding the download and my creation of it was so – well, magical. As I say in the book, magic does that to you; when something you did not anticipate and could not imagine happening happens, you will never forget it. Contrast it with a typical goal you’ve set, the reaching of which will often bring only a momentary thrill, if that.
From there, I had jumped onto a different trajectory, expanding my life. But it transpired that way because I took it and ran with it. Until I did so, I was still stuck in the same trajectory of pain, fear and lack (in the book I expand on the situation I found myself in prior to receiving this teaching).
We are, after all, creative beings. We always have the opportunity to create something and by so doing anchor ourselves in a certain path, thereby changing our course. There is no one path that you are stuck in. But usually we are the ones stopping ourselves from progressing to a different path.
Here are some of the things I learned about creating, from my amazing journey with Magical Possibilities:
Trust Your Guidance.
Our intuition is one of our superpowers, yet we tend to doubt it. Whenever I did not listen to my intuition, I ended up paying a price for it. Many have told me the same.
Channeling is not just limited to healers and mediums. We all have the same gift. As divine beings, naturally we are channels of divine wisdom and power. The divine is always speaking to you, offering you guidance, healing you, loving you. But our tendency is to block it, insisting on being stuck.
I will say that this was one of the times when I really listened to and acted on my guidance. Those hearing my story may be tempted to say, but it is not something normal people experience. As if it’s easier to trust this obviously-magical situation than ‘normal’ circumstances! I can tell you that sometimes it’s harder to trust these kinds of events because the emotional stake is higher. Trust is a decision, and this time I had decided to trust it. Therein lies the gift: we have the power to decide anything.
As I contemplate on some other events that were also magical but I didn’t act on an invitation, a prompt, I wonder what positive shifts I might have missed out on.
Divine Timing Is Real.
When you get a nudge, you go ahead and create it, express it, take it to its finality – unhindered by ‘logical’ considerations such as, “Will I be able to make money from it?”
Deep down, we are always looking for magic, yet we’re programmed to dismiss it as wrong, a waste of time, a reckless pursuit. We’re programmed to have a mindset of always calculating if something is worth doing based on one dimension: the soul-less computation of cold facts without regard to the subtler dimensions that carry so much more data if we would just open up to it.
From our human-level consciousness, we may not have the larger perspective but we can sense the rightness of it. This is our way of ‘seeing’ the bigger picture. It endows us with a Knowing, that we can trust it. That is enough information we need to give it the green light.
What if you proceeded with this idea and the outcome is not what you expect? Your creations are never wasted. The energy, love and time you put into it are still there doing something. That something may remain a mystery until the right time when you can know. When you insist on knowing first, it is akin to limiting it to one measurement of success and what is possible. If you think nothing productive has come out of it, you close the door to the magic that is percolating within it, waiting for the divine time when it will be unleashed.
It Is Not Yours to Hold Back.
When I look at how people generally respond to divine nudges, it is quite inappropriate. We take it personally and project our stuff onto it, justifying why we won’t act on it by claiming we aren’t ready emotionally, mentally or physically, or even getting angry for being ‘asked’ to do something that stretches us.
The truth is, we are extensions of Universal Consciousness. There is a Higher Design at play where the lives of every soul is an important piece of the puzzle that make up the entire human race and its unfoldment. It is arrogant of us to think we’re not ready to act on it, as if we know better.
If I didn’t heed my guidance to write the book and teach everyone who came to me for help this new body of work I had received, I would have deprived so many people whose lives have been transformed by it. The seed of an idea, the spark of inspiration to do something, is a divine nudge telling us we can trust and must act on it.
Magic Is In Store.
When you receive a sign, message or strong inner feeling about a particular thing, it means you’re on the cusp of something magical. There is something magical in store for you. But it is contingent on you acting on this thing.
I remember preparing to move my base from Asia to Africa, a dream I had fostered for six years before Magical Possibilities and which had suddenly become a reality. One day, overwhelmed by the amount of work it took despite having relocated many times prior, I heard Spirit saying, “This is a sacred journey.” I felt the invitation to embrace all components of the process of moving as part of a sacred journey.
As soon as I did, it filled me with magicalness. Almost as if I was lifted to a higher realm, above the stresses. I became focused on the sacred nature of everything I was doing, the majority of which were tedious, mundane tasks. That magicalness held and supported me until I arrived at my destination. My recognising it as something that bestows me with magic became a portal to more magic and miracles down the road.
Do you need to hear a voice telling you that you’re on a sacred journey? Not really. I have received that higher truth for you and I am conveying it to you on Spirit’s behalf. The truth of the matter is everything can be sacred if you decide to go through it as such. If you hear a whisper towards a certain direction and you ignore it, you are essentially shutting out the gift of magic and miracles. But if you heed it and embark on it as if you are a spiritual warrior setting off on a meaningful and profound adventure, you keep the avenues open for these divine gifts.
Doing it Changes You.
There is a saying, it is not the destination but the journey. I think it’s not expanded upon enough. It means the final outcome is irrelevant. As you embark on actualising it, you stretch and expand yourself, and in so doing becoming an elevated version of yourself. You actually get so much more, beyond the more superficial outcome you might have imagined or focused on.
This means instead of waiting for a better time, when you have improved yourself, the process itself is the healing and self-improvement.
It also means that you give up all preconceived notions about what it can give you. Along the way, it may bring you to places you may never have chosen, out of shortsightedness. These are the places that if you were to release control or resistance and allowed yourself to flow in alignment with your highest trajectory you’ll naturally find yourself in.
Here, hidden treasures can be found, oftentimes precious fragments of you that somehow had broken off from the rest of you. Reclaiming our soul fragments and feeling restored to wholeness is one of the greatest fulfilments. You can purposefully look for them in certain places on your own but the Universe has an intelligence that allows for more sophisticated, brilliantly creative unfoldments that make the journey magical.
I could never have imagined the kind of places I found myself in after I had written Magical Possibilities and continued to share the teaching. Every event that unfolded on its path has enabled me to become more wholly myself and fuller in life, no matter what it looked like on the surface. There is immanent bliss and infinite beauty within Existence that transcend pain and suffering; and we can exist predominantly in this realm of reality. This is the most significant discovery I have made to date.
There is a bounty of magic in my book Magical Possibilities, now more so in the updated version. As I relaunch this beloved work of mine, I am told by Spirit that it is a source of unlimited wisdom making it in itself a malleable form of creation. Today, nine years after I first wrote it, I still feel strongly that it is the only roadmap we need to manoeuvre and thrive in the physical reality. The portal is officially opened to dispense more magic into our world.
